"Scorching Sunlight" was born with the idea of writing a long, complex track: always evolving and going in different directions but with a recurring main theme.
The lyrical concept was inspired by a trip in Iceland, been surrounded by Nature in its purest, brutal, primordial form.
Humans think to be above everything on this planet, but they are just a small and insignificant event in the history of Earth.
Humanity's only and inevitable destiny is to disappear: it will be erased and forgotten.
"Mesmerism" and "Lament" are two more experimental songs, starting with an hypnotic mood, ending with an outburst of sheer noise.
The last track it's a tribute to one of the greatest band ever.
